外国でも平和を話し合うために

新バージョンに応募してくれたみなさん、ありがとうございます。今回は３人に記念品をプレゼントすると言いましたね。当選者は、広島市中区のだいちこさん、安佐北区のＭｓ.Ａｂｅさん、広島県府中町のＳＯＳ男さんです！おめでとう。

平和記念公園をどのくらいの頻度で訪れるかという質問にはおもしろい意見が集まりました。every day（毎日）という答えから、hardly ever （ほとんどない）という答えまでさまざまでした。私の答えは、解答例にしましたよ。

After the war, the area that became Peace Memorial Park lay in ruins for a while. Hiroshima did not have enough money or supplies to rebuild the city. On August 6, 1949, a special law was made to help with reconstruction. It was called the "Hiroshima Peace Memorial City Construction Law." The law specified the land for Peace Memorial Park. However, many people were living in shacks on the land. These people had to find other places to live.
