Deepens the meaning, "Succession to the A-bomb Experiences"

Hiroshima City commemorates "Memorial Day" as it marks the 54th anniversary of the A-bombing today. The 20th century has been a century of wars and nuclear weapons that were created in this century. People have not succeeded in escaping from the fear of nuclear weapons. The survivors, who are aging more than ever, have remained determined to tell their stories to eliminate nuclear weapons and wish for peace. In order to make the 21st century a century without nuclear weapons, the duty to succeed to their experiences is carrying more weight and importance. The number of people continued to grow today in Peace Memorial Park to pray for "World Peace".
