TOKYO, Aug. 2 Kyodo -- Japan and Australia will discuss measures to jointly tackle terrorism at a meeting in Canberra on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry said Friday.

Hiroshi Shigeta, ambassador in charge of Japan's policy on the international fight against terrorism, will meet with his counterparts in the Australian Foreign Ministry at the talks, it said.
